Cancellation and Refund policy

Cancellation and Refund policy:

At Royal Bengal Tours, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to accommodate these changes while maintaining our commitments to both our customers and our third-party partners. This policy is in accordance with international travel and tourism standards.

  1. General Cancellation Terms
  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to our customer service department.
  • The date of receipt of the cancellation notice will determine the applicable cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation, subject to the conditions outlined below.
  1. Cancellation Fees

The following cancellation fees apply based on the notice period provided:

  • More than 60 days before departure: 10% of the total tour cost
  • 31 to 60 days before departure: 25% of the total tour cost
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
  • 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total tour cost

Please note that additional cancellation fees may apply according to the policies of third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, airlines, etc.) that we rely on for our services. These fees will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation.

  1. Special Conditions
  • For hotel bookings, the cancellation policy of the respective hotel will apply. Full prepayment is required to confirm a hotel reservation, and cancellations will be subject to the hotel’s terms.
  • For vehicle hire, an advance payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation, and full payment must be made 48 hours before departure. Cancellations during long holiday periods must be made at least 72 hours before departure to avoid additional fees.
  1. Refund Process
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment.
  • Bank processing times may vary, and refunds typically take 7-10 working days to be processed by your bank.
  • Any bank charges or remittance fees associated with the refund process are the responsibility of the customer.
  1. Force Majeure

Royal Bengal Tours is not liable for any cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, accidents, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseeable circumstances. In such cases, we will strive to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour, but refunds may not be possible.

  1. Responsibility of Guests

Guests are responsible for providing accurate and timely information for bookings and cancellations. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this policy may result in forfeiture of payments.
